This course is especially focused on improving your ICT skills which should have essential for your day to day professional life.
Time & Targets
During these three hours, you will have to practice 05 skills.

3. Skill 01: Skill 01: Identify your web browser
Web browser is an application software to be used to browse the internet.
Skill 01:
Practical Activity
See the web browser in your computer.
Microsoft edge (windows 10), Internet Explore (Older Windows Versions),Mozilla Firefox (Open Source – Mozilla foundation), Google chrome (From Google), Opera (from Opera software systems)

5. Skill 02: Download software to your machine
You can download any open source software without paying cost. But if you try to download any proprietary software , you should pay relevant cost by a credit card or any other payment method.

6. Skill 02 Practical Activity
Download Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox web browser and if your network grant you to permission to install try to install it.
Open Google Search engine and search “Google chrome” or “Mozilla Firefox”
Download Sinhala Unicode software and if your network grant you to permission to install
Go to web page

Zip files : want compression tools like winzip,winrar,7-zip
.exe files: installation files/ executable
pdf: want adobe reader or acrobat reader
.pdf files (portable document format)
You can run (or install) only .exe files..
.exe means “executable”
Most of the cases Windows provides you a “wizard” to complete your installation.
