PROGRESS Technology is not the only thing that should improve and evolve. Our understanding of others and how we can progress as a nation. Practice does not make perfect, but it does make issues better. As we evolve as a society is a key importance to try new ways to break down barriers. Educating oneself to become aware of how to individual change and help society change around you.

FREEDOM Freedom is defined is being able to do whatever one chooses to do. This does not mean there is not a consequence to what you choose, whether it be good or bad. Every human-being has the right to be free, but must choose wisely what they do with their freedom.

12 THOUGHT PROVOKING QUESTIONS
QUESTION ONE: How as a whole do we atone and move forward from racism as a society? QUESTION TWO: What are some actions that display atonement and a change in the right direction?

13 THOUGHT PROVOKING QUESTIONS (CONT.)
QUESTION THREE: Though our founding fathers helped to grant us the freedom that we enjoy today, Should we as a nation stop hiding the mistakes, such as owning slaves, of our founding fathers? QUESTION FOUR: What steps can we as future educators do to avoid such division among future generations?

14 THOUGHT PROVOKING QUESTIONS (CONT.)
QUESTION FIVE: What actions can we as a nation take to heal the division in our communities? Can we reach out more to other races and ethnicities and provide that bridge that will hopefully end racism in America? QUESTION SIX: Should such names of said founding fathers that owned slaves and used slaves for labour be erased from University buildings and some Universities all together? Would this action and replacing the names of more agreeable historical figures help to heal the division across universities?

15 CONCLUSION NOTES: Though our nation can never truly hide from parts of our history, we can be the generation that puts forth a united front to avoid such spreading of hatred in America NOTES: Education is the key to this achievement. Only by educating our children at a young age both in the classroom and at home will be truly have a chance to end racism in America. NOTES: Finally, We owe a debt of gratitude to our founding fathers for achieving our freedom and building the nation that we so love today. But, it is time for us as a nation to stop hiding their faults and perhaps uplift and praise more progressive historical figures.
