Section IV: Analysis of Assessment Data : Pre/Post Tests
Pre and Post Tests in Composition I classes Classes meeting on MWF attend two library class periods. Are administered a pre and post test of Information Literacy Skills. . Tests scores for the last two years show an average of 12.48% improvement on the post test. Report on Academic Year Program Quality Improvement Report

Post tests show measureable improvement. Results enable us to improve class presentations to improve student retention and application of knowledge. How are your stated student learning outcomes appropriate to your mission, programs, degrees, and students? 2. What evidence do you have that students achieve your stated learning outcomes? 3. In what ways do you analyze and use evidence of student learning? 4. How do you evaluate and improve the effectiveness of your efforts to assess and improve student learning? Revise pre-post test questions Test pre-post test with a focus group Make some type of tutorial available for point of need student learning. Investigate giving Information Literacy exit exam in capstone classes. Report on Academic Year Program Quality Improvement Report
