“Not everyone, of course, is able to wear such finery,” added the second.

5 royal owned by a king or a queen; suitable for royalty-people with the sovereign right to govern a kingdom (p. 252) Not even his wife or his most trusted ministers could persuade him that he need not worry so much about his royal attire.
