6 QUESTION #5: WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ANIMATION/WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE ANIMATOR?
I asked this question in order to get an idea of what sort of style people would like to see in an animation. As this question is gathering opinions, the results from it are qualitative. Obviously everyone gave a different answer, so I will list them below. “Sebastian Rhys” “Scooby-Doo” ”DreamWorks or Pixar” “The YouTube channel “Carbot Animations”” One Person skipped “Rhubarb and Custard” “TomSka” “Fantastic Mr Fox/Wes Anderson” “Bojack Horseman or old episodes of The Simpsons” “I can’t remember their names” “My favourite animation is ANIME!” “The Simpsons (Old episodes from the 90s rather than the newer ones” “My favourite animation is Sword Art Online” “Disney” “Toy Story, Pixar” “Tes Animator” “Any Studio Ghibli film” “The Lion King (it’s class), Pete Doctor” “Jaiden Animations” “Family Guy"

7 QUESTION #6: WHAT IS IT THAT YOU PARTICULARLY LIKE ABOUT THIS ANIMATION/ANIMATOR?
I asked this question so that I could get an idea of the sort of things people like about animations and animators. Much like the previous question, this is asking for an opinion so it gives me qualitative data. All the answers are different so I will list them below “I love their so much and their editing is great.” “Funny.” ”A good story.” “Very well designed, yet simple, characters, fluid movement, high energy. Everything needed for comedic cartoons.” 1 Person skipped “Clever style.” “The animation is simple, good, funny storyline and Rhubarb always gets the better of Custard.” “It is amusing.” “IT IS BETTER THAN EVERYTHING ELSE!.” “His animated sketches are really funny.” “Its comical side.” “Original comedy.” “Traditional and new stories.” “It's simple but still a lot of effort made in the picture. Covers real life situations and perceptions and even politics and society.” “I like how he changes everyday objects like spaghetti out of materials.” “Animals, appeals to kids, did so to me. Love the stories he has created for Pixar.” “The storyline.” “I like the Japanese style of animation. It is both cartoonish and emotionally engaging.” “The adult humour.” ”Good storyteller.”

8 QUESTION #7: ARE THERE ANY PARTICULAR ANIMATIONS/ANIMATORS THAT YOU DON’T LIKE?
“Japanese Anime” I asked this question so I would know what style people wouldn’t want to see in an animation. The results from this question are qualitative. Two people skipped the question and 12 people said ’No’ (In various forms). Here are the other answers. “Anime (Japanimation)” “Internet personality “TheOdd1sOut”” “Not keen on anime” “New Simpsons, Family Guy” “Kinda fed up of digital animation...Bring back cartoons....though Pepper Pig animation is stupidly lazy bad drawings”

9 QUESTION #8: WHAT IS IT THAT YOU DON’T LIKE ABOUT THIS ANIMATION/ANIMATOR?
I asked this question so I could find out exactly what people didn’t like about animations. The results from this question gave me qualitative data. 5 people skipped this question and 7 people said ’N/A’ in several various forms. Here are the other answers. “The flat colour and odd looking characters” “Poor quality writing and poor humour” “The characters look too unreal and even if they are made by different people they all look the same.” ”NOTHING, IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” “NOTHING!!!!!!!” ”The animations themselves” “This guy is a great person and a great comic artist but his attempts to bring comic-strip style visuals and movement to animation leaves them stilted and awkward, hardly moving and causing a jarring change of pace when they do move.”

10 QUESTION #9: ARE THERE ANY SPECIFIC TOPICS THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE IN AN ANIMATION? IF SO, WHAT?
I asked this question so that I could get more ideas for what to make my animation about. This question is both quantitative and qualitative as it is asking for people a ’Yes’ or ‘No’ question but if they answer ‘Yes’ it is asking for their opinion. Out of the 20 people how answered, 12 (60%) said ’No’ and 8 (40%) said ‘Yes’. Here’s what the 8 people wrote. “Comedy.” “Topics that can be made funny.” “GOOD ONES.” (?) “Make it interesting.” ”Your mum” ”Any.” “Current Affairs.”

11 QUESTION #10: Do you have any tips or suggestions on how I could make the best animation possible?
I asked this question because I wanted to see if anyone had any useful tips. This question is qualitative as it is asking for opinions. The answers are below. “Make it light and funny.” “It depends on what kind of animation (stop motion, hand drawn, digital, etc.)” “Animation more than any other medium is all about timing, if the pacing, speed, or any other form of timing is off even slightly it could ruin the animation.” 3 people skipped the question. 2 people said no. “Work hard.” “Simple, amusing storyline and original characters and style.” ”MAKE IT AN ANIME!!!” “Watch ANIME.” “Make sure the audio is as good as the animation, peoples’ ears are quicker to be offended than their eyes.” “Make it funny.” “Keep the frame rate high, so lots of small movements between images/takes.” “Comedy yet educational.” “Add a lesson in the story.”
