1 Killing Yourself by yourself…

2 How you kill yourself by yourself
Satan is not allowed to touch you in your life, however he will deceive you to drown in your own sin. A great story; when travelling to the north pole, there are very unique and rich foxes that are very hard and expensive to capture. They have an AWESOME and GREAT technique to capture this fox without laying a HAND! How is that possible?? They drown a special unique knife in an animal’s blood and they bury it under the layer of snow in a standing way. The fox is always searching and attracted to the smell of blood. He sniffs, and sniffs, and he smells this blood from far away. He finds this spot, starts digging. And digging. What happens when he finds the blood?

3 What happens when he finds the blood
What happens when he finds the blood? He starts licking this knife that’s covered with blood. When he does this, he cuts his tongue without noticing. The fox starts to taste hot blood, thinking there’s a live prey for him to prey on. This is every fox’s dream to find an animal to indulge on. When he licks more and more with greater speed every time, he is really drinking his own blood. Well, he keeps drinking his own blood until…… ….. …. Until he dies in this exact same spot. And he had no idea.

4 How satan kills you.. Satan will study your desires, and will evaluate what makes you weak, uncontrollable, and sick! Taking advice from crafty men. Lying to get what you want. Stealing to get what is not yours. And then, after the sin, you get killed by your own desires.

5 A true example When love and lust is mishandled, the ultimate result is your inner death. Taking advice from outside the commandment of God, will lead you to be blind to what the sin really is. When mishandling your sexual desires, and listening to what society says, what are you really doing? You are disobeying God’s commandment by indulging in your lustful desires; lying and stealing to get what you want, resulting in your emotions being killed. When your environment is consistently corrupted, you are forced by society to break the commandment of God and not have a true perspective of what this life means for you by God.

6 The Story of Amnon & Tamara
After this Absalom the son of David had a lovely sister, whose name was Tamar; and Amnon the son of David loved her. Amnon was so distressed over his sister Tamar that he became sick; for she was a virgin. And it was improper for Amnon to do anything to her. But Amnon had a friend whose name was Jonadab. Now Jonadab was a very crafty man. And he said to him, “Why are you, the king's son, becoming thinner day after day? Will you not tell me?” Amnon said to him, “I love Tamar.” So Jonadab said to him, “Lie down on your bed and pretend to be ill. And when your father comes to see you, say to him, ‘Please let my sister Tamar come and give me food, and prepare the food in my sight, that I may see it and eat it from her hand.’ ” And David sent home to Tamar, saying, “Now go to your brother,… she made him the food.. but he refused to eat. Then Amnon said, “Have everyone go out from me.” And they all went out from him. Then Amnon said to Tamar, “Bring the food into the bedroom, that I may eat from your hand.” And Tamar took the cakes which she had made, and brought them to Amnon in the bedroom. Now when she had brought them to him to eat, he took hold of her and said to her, “Come, lie with me, my sister.” But she answered him, “No, my brother, do not force me, for no such thing should be done in Israel. Do not do this disgraceful thing! And I, where could I take my shame? And as for you, you would be like one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, please speak to the king; for he will not withhold me from you.” However, he would not heed her voice; and being stronger than she, he forced her and lay with her.

7 Importance of the harvest of wrong love
Then Amnon hated her exceedingly, so that the hatred with which he hated her was greater than the love with which he had loved her. And Amnon said to her, “Arise, be gone!” So she said to him, “No, indeed! This evil of sending me away is worse than the other that you did to me.”

8 What does this mean? When we break God’s commandment, we find ourselves going deeper and deeper to achieve what we think will satisfy our desires. As we see with Amnon: He consulted with an unrighteous man Plotted an evil plan Lied to get what he wants Emptied the place Had her come in the bedroom Forced her against her will to lay with her Immediately after his selfish act, he hated her greater than he had loved her initially…because the guilt of breaking God’s commandment He hated himself, and instantly felt the guilt, and proceeded to kick her out against her own will He made her feel shameful, and lost her holiness and purity

9 Tamar’s effects and tore her robe of many colors,
In the bible, we read: “Then Tamar put ashes on her head, and tore her robe of many colors, and laid her hand on her head and went away crying bitterly” She felt great shame through her actions of putting ashes on her head She felt disgraceful through her actions of tearing her robe apart She felt assaulted through her actions of laying her hands on her head She felt greatly ruined by crying BITTERLY

10 The effects of sin When we sin, we don’t only affect ourselves, but we affect the others around us. The sin not only kills us from inside, but it kills the body, soul, and spirit that doesn’t belong to you. You are only but a steward! Adultery. To understand the meaning, you give yourself to another. Who is this another? This is Satan. When you hand yourself to satan, you will surely die!

11 The story The story starts off with love. To understand the meaning of the word of love. Love Attributes: rejoices in the truth bears all things believes all things hopes all things endures all things Love DOES NOT: envy; parade itself is not puffed up; behave rudely, seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; rejoice in iniquity

12 Meaning of lust Intense sexual desire or appetite
Uncontrolled or illicit sexual desires or appetite A passionate or overmastering desire or raving

13 Wrong advisor a skillful in underhand or evil schemes, cunning;
A crafty person: a skillful in underhand or evil schemes, cunning; deceitful; sly

14 Vacuum of sin Stealing from God => body, soul, and spirit => you are steward over them 1) Lying before stealing to steal You are lying to yourself to get something that you want but is not yours 2) Lying during the stealing to deceive the stolen You are lying during the sin to fulfill your uncontrollable desires & providing untrue love to the stolen 3) Lying after stealing to cover the theft; Because you took something that belongs to God, you are actively lying to cover the sin that you committed

15 One on one alone time Then Amnon said, “Have everyone go out from me.
Then Amnon said to Tamar, “Bring the food into the bedroom “For you once were in darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of the light. “ If Amnon truly loved Tamar, he would never deceive her, as well as those around Him; he would never ask her to be alone with him in the bedroom;

16 …Disgraceful action… We must understand, like King Solomon in Ecclesiastes, everything has its time in this world. We cannot rush or give into our desires when the time isn’t right, or you will surely fall into deep sin. "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven“ Eccl 3:1 there is a time for everything, and that which is good ceases to be good if it be not done in a good way; - Father Malaty Desire is surely like a weapon…if not used right, this can surely hurt; for example, a doctor’s scalpel, if not used with accuracy and precision on the patient…it will wound and scar (and potentially kill) the patient; We must look at desire as a weapon. It can be our best friend or our greatest enemy.

17 Shame for her. Shame: anything that is done in darkness, not in the light, is not easy to talk about, and done in hiding, entering the deep pit of darkness, causing you to be lonely, will surely cause shame for you…as we see with Tamar & Amnon “Righteousness lifts up a nation, but sin is a shame to any people” Pro 14:34

18 Foolish for him Foolish: “He who hides hatred with lying lips, and he who speaks a slander, is a fool” Proverbs 10:18 He is especially a fool who thinks to hide anything from God; and malice is no better. – Father Tadros Malaty Wisdom is in the sight of him who has understanding, But the eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth. A foolish son is a grief to his father, And bitterness to her who bore him. Prov 17:24-25

19 Hatred>Love Any relationship that does not include matters of the light, including: Parents being involved Father of Confession being involved Your Heavenly Father being involved Being out in the open, in the light Where you will be together in public Having holiness in this relationship Having Guidance from spiritual, Godly advisors The timing for this relationship The topic to discuss during this relationship All these topics indicate that the relationship in Light and in True Love; otherwise, you must know this is a dead-end, deadly relationship…as we see with Amnon & Tamar!
