1. Canadian Pacific Railway

2. Why is the railway important?
It is important because the original idea was for it to help people go across a continent.

3. The company was given 25 million dollars for the railway.
 The British wanted the railway to stretch from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean .
The company was given 25 million dollars for the railway.
The Metis weren't happy that the railway was being built through there land. So they had a war it was called the North West Rebellion.
The railway consisted of four provinces Nova Scotia , New Brunswick , Quebec ,and Ontario. 
Most railway workers were Chinese.
Also the people who worked with British Columbia didn't want the Chinese to help.

4. The railway was finished on November 7th 1885. It took 4 years.
The project started on February 16th 1881.
I was shocked to hear that the white people didn't respect the Chinese
My reaction was amazed. I was amazed to learn about how the railway was made.
