5. RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE
This organization provides a home for families that have sick children in the hospital.
We will be making dinner for them

6. SERV Lake Restoration
SERV Program invite you to help us plant shoreline vegetation to improve ecosystem function, habitat, and water quality at Lake of the Woods
Working in the water
Recommended: old clothes, closed-toe shoes, and sun protection.
Need signed liability form (one per year)

7. Chicken Race
This annual event is held at the Oviedo Mall and is run by our local Kiwanis Family
Volunteers would run booths and games
Be sure to wear your Key Club t-shirt (if you have one) and close toed shoes! :)

8. KCKC Key Club Kick-Off Conference
Leadership training & informational sessions for officers and general members
Does NOT count towards hours
Fee must be mailed to P.O box prior to event
Go to if you plan on running for higher office

Time : 9:30 am- 2:00 pm

9. United Against Poverty
Organization that supplies subsidized food and household items to those in need, as well as other amazing services
Members will help clean, organize, and stock shelves.
Make sure to wear closed toed shoes, jeans and t-shirts (no tank tops or leggings)

10. ARToberFEST
An annual event that showcases local artists and family activities
Friday shift : helping put up signs & setting up tents
Saturday shift 1 : interacting with families & kids and helping with arts & arts
Saturday shift 2 : water and soda sales
Need volunteer names, s and numbers now because we to register individual people instead of just a general group

A big family event that lets local artists to display their art
Friday shift: right after school, helping set up the place for the weekend
Both Saturday shifts are going at once but allow different opportunities
If you want to interact with kids, you can create crafts with them, but if you’d rather not, then you can do drink sales

11. HOPE Helps Food Drive
For one week, we are collecting non-perishable items to donate to the HOPE Helps Food pantry.
Bags will be placed in certain Teacher’s rooms where you can place the donated items (including Mrs. Ariza’s)
5 items = I hr (with a 1 hr limit)
Donations do NOT count for Bright futures hours.

12. Our First Spirit Night!
Our very first Key Club Spirit Night will be at the UCF Blaze Pizza!
We need to net at least 250$ to keep the profits so invite your friends and family out for some great pizza for a good cause
Flyers will be available a little later but we will send out a remind with the online flyer attached.
Turn in your receipt from the night to be entered into a Target gift card raffle at the end of the semester!

13. Haunted House Committee
The Riverside Haunted House is the biggest and most intensive of our service projects, as HHS Key Cub usually has 2 rooms.
In order to make this year’s Haunted House go smoothly, we wanted to put a committee together to help oversee it.
If you love Haunted Houses and Halloween and want an opportunity at a leadership position, make sure to contact or text the remind.
Also if anyone has any ideas for what the theme of our rooms should be, feel free to us or text the remind :)
