Made up of the House of Representatives and the Senate

Elected every two year, even years
Formal name is the General Assembly
Most important duty: MAKE A BUDGET FOR THE STATE

3. Committees; Types of Committees
Standing Committees: Draft bills
Conference Committees: Merge two version of a bill into one.
Joint Committees: Has both senators and representatives.

Pick two committees from each the House of Representatives and the Senate.
Write the name, at least 3 member, and a summary of the duties and history.
