The link to the survey was posted to the bodyTachi Tumblr and DeviantArt accounts, with an image of Body Kun asking for help with the survey
28 responses were given in the first 24 hours, with only 4 more received in the next day. There was a total of 32 responses and 63 visits to the survey.
There was no incentive given for filling out the survey

The largest age group amongst survey results was 15-20, making up 40% of the responders

The question was purposefully open-ended, allowing for users to input their own answer. 15% of the users identified as Non Binary or Gender Fluid which is only a slightly smaller group than the 19% of responders that were male.

75% of the survey responders are studying art on their own
Only 3% of the responders are taking art classes, while only 6% are attending art college

Although one of the answer options was “Yes, I work for a company as an artist”, none of the responders chose this option.
An equal amount of people want to be a professional artist as people who just view art as a hobby. These two made up the largest group of responders at 41% each.

Of the 16% of users who chose “Other” as their answer, 80% of them said they search by “very specific actions”

The response was generally positive, with 50% of the users saying that they like and use drawing prompts (which are suggestions for what to draw, randomly generated)
3% of the survey responders chose “Other” and wrote in that they had “never tried” a drawing prompt previously

One person had a concern about missing new posts and would like for posts to be done on a schedule so they know when to check back, or to be notified of new posts
