1. خابَ الْوافِدُونَ عَلَی غَیْرِکَ،
دعائے رجب یہ دعا پڑھے کہ جسے امام جعفر صادق (ع)رجب میں ہر روز پڑھا کرتے تھے۔
خابَ الْوافِدُونَ عَلَی غَیْرِکَ،
Run to a dead end the hoodwinked passengers who looked for the “Ghayrallah” (other than Thee),
نا امید ہوئے تیرے غیرکی طرف جانے والے

2. دعائے رجب وَخَسِرَ الْمُتَعَرِّضُونَ إِلاَّ لَکَ،
Lost their way, lured and swindled, those who hanged onto and held fast anything that offers itself, not linked with Thee,
گھاٹے میں رہے تیرے غیر سے سوال کرنے والے

3. دعائے رجب وَضاعَ الْمُلِمُّونَ إِلاَّ بِکَ
cried in anguish, frightened and agitated, those who stayed and took shelter anywhere other than Thee,
تباہ ہوئے تیرے غیر کے ہاں جانے والے،

4. دعائے رجب وَأَجْدَبَ الْمُنْتَجِعُونَ إِلاَّ مَنِ انْتَجَعَ فَضْلَکَ
went waste efforts of those who tried to profit from that which they came across instead of having the wholesome benefits from Thee.
قحط کاشکار ہوئے تیرے فضل کے غیر سے روزی طلب کرنے والے

5. دعائے رجب بَابُکَ مَفْتُوحٌ لِلرَّاغِبِینَ
Thy door is wide open for those who call humbly and fervently on Thee,
تیرا در اہل رغبت کیلئے کھلا ہے

6. دعائے رجب وَخَیْرُکَ مَبْذُولٌ لِلطَّالِبِینَ،
Success, high – mindedness, and piety are freely available to those who pray and request Thee,
تیری بھلائی طلب گاروں کو بہت ملتی ہے

7. دعائے رجب وَفَضْلُکَ مُباحٌ لِلسَّائِلِینَ،
Thy favours are common and open to all when besought submissively,
تیرا فضل سائلوں کیلئے عام ہے

8. دعائے رجب وَنَیْلُکَ مُتَاحٌ لِلاْمِلِینَ،
They gifts come in long strides when asked for by the hopeful supplicants,
اور تیری عطا امید واروں کیلئے آمادہ ہے

9. دعائے رجب وَرِزْقُکَ مَبْسُوطٌ لِمَنْ عَصَاکَ
hy usual disposition is to do favour (even) to those who stir up mischief,
تیرا رزق نافرمانوں کیلئے بھی فراواں ہے

10. دعائے رجب وَحِلْمُکَ مُعْتَرِضٌ لِمَنْ نَاوَاکَ
Thy system looks after and keeps alive (even) those who are hostile to Thee.
تیری بردباری دشمن کے لیے ظاہر و عیاں ہے گناہگاروں پر

11. دعائے رجب عَادَتُکَ الْاِحْسانُ إِلَی الْمُسِیئِینَ
tears in their eyes, the daily bread (from Thee) is openly spread out for one and all
احسان کرنا تیری عادت ہے

12. دعائے رجب وَسَبِیلُکَ الْاِ بْقاءُ عَلَی الْمُعْتَدِینَ
Thy indulgence reach out (even) to those who keep themselves far from Thee,
اور ظالموں کو باقی رہنے دینا تیرا شیوہ ہے

13. دعائے رجب اَللّٰھُمَّ فَاھْدِنِی ھُدَی الْمُھْتَدِینَ
O my Allah, therefore, keep me on the path of those who are rightly guided,
اے معبود مجھے ہدایت یافتہ لوگوں کی راہ پر لگا

14. دعائے رجب وَارْزُقْنِی اجْتِہادَ الْمُجْتَھِدِینَ
give me courage to strive like those who exert themselves fully in Thy way,
اور مجھے کوشش کرنے والوں کی سی کوشش نصیب فرما

15. دعائے رجب وَلاَ تَجْعَلْنِی مِنَ الْغَافِلِینَ الْمُبْعَدِینَ،
and do not let me be among the negligent who have gone far in their forgetfulness,
مجھے غافل اور دورکیے ہوئے لوگوں میں سے قرار نہ دے

16. دعائے رجب وَاغْفِرْ لِی یَوْمَ الدِّینِ ۔
forgive me on the Day of Judgment.
اور یوم جزا میں مجھے بخش دے۔
