Background Information
Gerald Francis Gault, fifteen years old, was taken to custody for an offensive call. His parents were not informed about the situation. Gault was previously on probation.

14th amendment=Must be notified of charges, rights. No self incrimination. Equal protection under the law, and citizenship of any born or naturalized citizen.
