atticus I wish Bob Ewell did not chew tobacco.
Atticus said he was too old to fight Bob Ewell, put his hands in his pockets and walked away. Atticus said Bob Ewell would not harm him, Ewell got it all out of his system.

atticus Atticus said nothing would happen to Tom Robinson until the higher court reviewed his case. He may even go free. If Tom Robinson loses the appeal he will go to the electric chair and be executed.

Miss stephanie crawford
Atticus was leaving his office when Mr Ewell approached him, cursed him, spat on him, and threatened to kill him. Atticus did not bat an eye. He just took out his handkerchief, wiped his face and stood there and let Mr Ewell call him names.

Mr Ewell asked if Atticus was too proud to fight him. Atticus could be very dry sometimes. (humourous)

Jem and scout Wanted Atticus to borrow a gun which he could carry around for protection. Atticus refused. Jem and Scout were so worried about Atticus that Atticus became aware of it.

Jem and scout Jem says there are four types of people: The ordinary kind like them and the neighbours, the Cunninghams who hated the Ewells, the Ewells who hated negroes, and the Negroes. Scout said there were only people, they were all the same.

Jem and scout Jem said he once believed that, but not anymore. There are strange differences between people that complicates life. Jem understands why Boo Radley stays inside his house, he wants to.

Aunt alexandra Also though Bob Ewell was not through taking revenge.
Doesn’t want Scout to mix with the Cunninghams or invite Walter Cunningham for lunch because the Cunninghams are trash. Scout should never be interested in a Cunningham or mix with a Cunningham.

Tom robinson Was at Enfield Prison Farm, seventy miles away in Chester county.
