Statistical Regions Croatia Change of Statistical Regions proposed by CBS Approved by Eurostat on 3. Aug with immediate application Two NUTS-2 regions in North of Croatia merged No other territorial changes, but several 1-1 code changes CBS and Eurostat requested to switch ASAP to new codes New codes in GEO.DIC E4 sent correspondence tables to all units with regional tables and HR regions Historical data can be easily recalculated by CBS or Eurostat HR regions integrate into NUTS by tech. adapt. upon accession Regional Discussion Group 18 October 2012

Statistical Regions Mayotte Mayotte will be part of the EU as of 1 Jan. 2014 Relevant for national statistics Mayotte will be part of the NUTS as of 1 Jan. 2015 Relevant for regional statistics However, Mayotte data is urgently needed for MFF calculations Data will be provided by INSEE very soon, after validation at Eurostat has been finalised (Population √, GDP √, Employment ?) Code will be YT, Label: (Mayotte (FR - part of EU as of ) Mayotte will be integrated in the regional tables Regional Discussion Group 18 October 2012
