Ally - someone who supports and helps someone else
a mentor, a friend, a supporter
LGBTQ ally / undocu-ally
Advocate - someone who publicly supports something
someone who speaks out, takes a stand, shares information, promotes a cause or a marginalized group
Accomplice - someone who helps someone else to commit a crime or do something morally wrong
someone who takes action to help those in need (going beyond giving information)

3. Listen to People’s Stories
Create a welcoming space for people to share their stories. 
Listen carefully without judgement. 
Treat others as human beings, not political pawns.

Research the issues, laws, statistics, and current events.
