2. Luciano Pavarotti was born in 1935
in Modena, Italy.

3. As a child, his parents encouraged him to sing.
They gave him voice lessons, but insisted he continue his formal education.

4. After winning several important competitions, he made his
operatic debut playing Rodolfo in La Boheme in 1961.

5. In 1963, Luciano gave his first internationally televised performance.

6. In 1965, Pavarotti had his debut in the United States in Miami, Florida in a production of Lucia di Lammermoor.

Unfortunately, he became seriously ill. He died in 2006 in his hometown of Modena.
