Many teachers were excited to return to school to find their new books and materials from last Spring’s Classroom Literacy Grants. We look forward to doing this again this year.
All teachers were given $75 for classroom start ups.
Two Welcome Back Teacher Appreciation Lunches: Taco Tuesday by Above the Grain Catering and Honey Baked Ham on Thursday.

New SSAS Logo in more colors!
Vendor: Upgraded quality of dry-fit (snag resistant) and more color choices for same price.
Available at General Membership meetings and by order form. They will be delivered to your child’s 7th period teacher.

Concession Stand
Unfortunately the school store had to close due to snacks on the bus & students missing the bus, among other reasons.
We will be doing concessions at various events including home Volleyball and Basketball games. Please keep your eye out for SignUp Genius opportunities. They fill quickly.
We are offering food items such as nachos, hot dogs and popcorn.
Sarasota’s Holiday Parade

Performances from the Drumline and SSAS Dancers
We are looking for a fun team of parades who are interested in building and decorating the float and helping in the organization of the event.
