INNOVATION: Vintage Cheese & Champagne Luncheon
Used a high-profile account (The Dutch) and two exceptional guest speakers (Dominique DeMarville, VCP Chef du Cave and Rebecca Hoffman, Cheese specialist) to create a unique tasting experience: Tasted six different vintages of champagne and compared / contrasted with six different vintages of cheese Fertile ground for “panel” discussion = the difference in ageing processes and which cheeses went best with which champagnes. Created a new opportunity for Champagne (the cheese course!) and a fun and memorable event that trade guests can apply in their restaurants MNY / Kerrin Egalka 1 1
