Create a New Account @cougarmail.collin.edu ONLY
No-show policy: Cancel at least one hr. prior to appointment. After three no-shows, student accounts will be disabled until the next semester. Leave all defaults at “yes” to receive texts along with cougarmail reminders about your appointments and free upcoming seminars. Don’t forget to click “Register” at the bottom of the form.

Return to Log-in Page Input your cougarmail address and password. Then, choose which schedule you prefer from the drop-down arrow, in-house, online, or group tutoring/seminars.

Choose Appointment Block Day/Time
Orange and Gray blocks are unavailable. White blocks are available appointments. Black spaces are when consultants are not scheduled to work. White clock faces offer a waiting list option for times when the schedule is fully booked. After you choose a white block on your preferred day & time, click it to open an appointment form.

Complete Appointment Form
Fill in all areas with a red * and then hit “Save Appointment.” Use this space to tell us anything you want us to know ahead of time.

Complete Appointment and Log Out
Individual students’ scheduled appointments will always be purple. Students may schedule two ½ hour appointments per week. To log out, hover over white triangle until Log Out drops down. Click to log off.

To Cancel (To avoid No-show penalties, students must cancel at least one hour before the appointment begins two hours for VirtualMuse online appointments) 1. Log into the system and choose the correct schedule: 2. Click on your appointment (purple box) 3. Scroll to the bottom of your appointment form and click “Cancel this Appointment”

Points to Note In-House Hours: Room D203 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM Monday – Thursday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday Students may choose from four schedules: VirtualMuse –hours vary (live online appointments from home —students must have a microphone) Plano Writing Center In-House ( in-person, Room D203) Group Tutoring and Seminar Schedule (Walk-in, no registration necessary) DropBox (essay upload online for delayed feedback) Students may make two in-house appointments per week (½ hr.), one VirtualMuse ( ½ hr. – 1 hr.), or DropBox (two day turnaround from date of upload) In-house students may choose their consultant (place request in the “Anything you’d like us to know?” box) Students who earn three no-shows in one semester will have their accounts disabled and may not schedule another appointment until the next semester All group tutoring (math,science) and seminars are free and walk-in only Professors are notified of student attendance electronically
