1. What connotations does the name "Weatherall" have within the context of the story? 2. How is the name suited to the protagonist? 3. Cite examples from the story to show that life has not "been too much for her." 4. Identify the following characters and define whether they are related to Granny's past or present- Cornelia, John, Doctor Harry, George, Father Connolly. (Include a discussion of what role each plays in the life of Granny.) 5. What is the significance of Granny's seeing Hapsy again? 6. Where in fact is Hapsy? 7. "She had spent so much time preparing for death there was no need for bringing it up again." Explain how, in light of the story, this is proven not to be true. 8.
