CCLHO CME May 10-11, 2018 A partnership between Health Officers and MCAH Biggest public health issues on both ends of the LifeCourse (Maternal Mortality, Perinatal Substance Use, Child Abuse & Neglect, Adolescent Suicide – Mental Health, Opioids, Homelessness, Suicide) End goal is to build Resilience against adversity. We cannot prevent all adversity Today’s biggest public health issues are simply symptoms of a more deeply rooted core problem – ACEs, which Dr. Stephenson will be going into deeply “Resilience Trumps ACEs” and “The Root of the Root” – Dr. Nadine Burke Harris Can optimize efforts to address health and wellness across the entire LIFECOURSE and combat today’s greatest public health crisis.

Where are you stuck? What do you totally get? What does it mean to you? What is your role? Defining the terms….getting us all on the same page. Resilient individuals, families, communities and systems. But that also means resilient leaders, staff and agencies. So what’s next? The what, how and why…
