Muscle Practical Instructions

Muscle Practical Instructions
Put your stuff down underneath or at the back and sit down (all you need is a pen/pencil) Take an answer sheet When we begin, you will have 1 minute per dual station When timer beeps, move over one station. Remain at your station until the timer beeps There are more people than stations so those who are waiting should form a line by station one. You will have the chance to see stations again at the end

Instructions Odd numbered questions = models and figures from the first half of muscles (left column) Even numbered questions = models and figures from the second half of muscles (right column) Each station is worth 1 point, except the ten that ask for origin or insertion, which are worth 2 points There are 42 points for muscles +10 points for O/I for a total = 52 (so 2 are bonus)

Quiz instructions There are 6 dual stations each in the first 2 rows, 4 stations in each of the back 2 rows, and one station on the side (21 total). Each blank is worth 1 point including the 10 origin or insertion blanks. These have a *star by the number on the answer sheet and an extra blank to write in the O or I. Each station has two muscles to identify. You will have one minute at each station to answer both questions.

Helpful hints Pay attention to the question that is asked: is it asking for the muscle name? The part of the muscle (full name)? The origin? The insertion? Models have numbered bright green tape on the muscle of interest – IGNORE ALL OTHER MARKINGS; figures have a numbered line pointing to the muscle. Some model questions have a location written on them to help you locate the numbered sticker. For muscle parts, write muscle name for half credit; for O/I, if you write the opposite = half credit THERE ARE NO REPEATS

Quiz instructions The little muscle men have two stickers on them, one for the left column “axial” muscles and one for the right column “appendicular” muscles. All other stations have two separate models or figures. To help you tell them apart Left column muscles are always on the left and Right column muscles are on the right and the questions are boxed Move as follows:
