3rd and 4th: Bookmark should be ready to turn in if you have not done so.

If you did not submit the turnitin assignment on Friday, you must do that. It is for a grade.

4. Linking Verbs
A linking verb links the subject to something that renames or describes the subject
Examples: am, is, smells

5. Example Sentences I am happy. Madison is my daughter.
We are a happy family.

6. Formula Subject + Linking Verb + Renaming or Describing Subject
Jonathan is a young man.
Jonathan will be a freshman.
The eggs smell rotten.
