Collection ≠ Class in KG-ontology
Darwin’s theory of evolution An entity in KG. A collection in utterance.
4
Conceptual entity & Attribute of a named entity
“big” is considered as a property of the concept “cottontail rabbit” As a noun compound, we know “Obama” is a “President”. In utterance, we only care about “the Obama”. (Maybe just an Entity Annotation mistake)
5
Meta/Abstract concept/predicate
“amount” / “number” should not be treated as KG classes, since it is impossible to found appropriate instances for it. Quantity Is “Reasons” a factoid concept?
6
The first-step Task Determine how a noun phrase behaves in natural questions (based on dep+entity annotations) Method: CRF or Syntactic Rules An entity mention will be considered as a single word, <Entity>/<Class> will be regard as a special pos-tag.
