Original Water demand : 4,200 m3/day The water supply shall be from Municipality network. Water treatment plant should be used to do additional treatment of municipality portable water to insure the quality of supplied water to upscale residents. Storage tank should be provided with total Capacity of 4200 m3 to cover water shortage of one day from Municipality. Applied saving technologies in water supply systems A. Building level Using of a combination of fixtures and fittings that reduce indoor water usage by an average of 40% from a baseline. B. Infrastructure level Using of a smart water network system to prevent water losses through water network pipes with the following features ; Improved leakage and pressure management Streamlined network operations and maintenance Streamlined water quality monitoring Energy savings By applying the previous water saving technologies , the water demand expected to be reduced from 4,200 to 2,500 m3/day 2/4/2019 Nabta Town As Smart and Sustainable City in MENA Region

21 Wastewater system in Nabta Town
Original Wastewater Production : 3,800 m3/day The design will include an independent Wastewater Collection system for the development area and its integration with wastewater collection system of Borg Al-Arab city network. The wastewater will be collected to be treated in onsite wastewater treatment plant to cover irrigation and cooling tower water demand. By applying the previous mentioned water saving technologies , the wastewater production can be reduced from 3800 m3/day to 2200 m3/day 2/4/2019 Nabta Town As Smart and Sustainable City in MENA Region

22 Irrigation system in Nabta Town
Original Irrigation water demand : m3/day Applies saving Technique and Demand Using of automated irrigation system, which linked with weather station and moistures sensor installed in green areas. Using of adaptive plants which consume a small quantity of water. 100% of irrigation water will be saved by using treated wastewater. After applying the above saving techniques the irrigation demand will reduced by 50% to be 1250 m3/day. 2/4/2019 Nabta Town As Smart and Sustainable City in MENA Region

23 Storm Water System in Nabta Town
Project shall be supplied with a storm water network to collect the rain water from building roofs and roads to be reused after treatment. The calculated area of building roofs and roads presents about 55% of project plot area.
