Figure 2 After performing multiplex/single primer pair PCR reactions the presence of the PCR fragments were tested in 2% agarose gels. The figure represents the result of one of the multiplex PCRs. Lanes 1–10 show the presence of fragments sY283, sY157, sY158, sY81, sY182, and sY147 in male partners of women with RM (lanes 1–9) and a fertile male control (lane 10). Lane 11 shows an abnormal fragment pattern in a male with previously defined Y microdeletions. Lane 12 shows the absence of all Y-spesific fragments in a woman. A 100-bp marker is run in lane 13.
