4 Education: To become an Orthopedic Surgeon, you would need a science relater bachelor's degree followed by 4 years of medical school with six years at the minimum for residency. In total you would be in school for upwards of 14 years at the least. Bachelors = 4 years Medical = 4 years Residency = 6 years (at least)
