CONDITIONS GIVEN ORDERS, A COMBAT LOAD IAW UNIT SOP, FLASHLIGHT WITH FILTERED LENS, FIRST-AID KIT WITH INSECT REPELLANT, MAPS AND OVERLAYS, GUIDE SIGNS, COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT, REFLECTORIZED GEAR IAW STANAG 2159, SOIS, NBC MONITORING EQUIPMENT, NBC SIGNS, HYGIENE SUPPLIES, PAPER, AND PENCIL.

STANDARDS DO ALL NECESSARY STEPS TO— EXPEDITE PRIORITY TRAFFIC.
ENSURE TRAFFIC MOVES IAW THE TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN. 3. ENFORCE MSR REGULATIONS.

SETUP PROVIDE AN AREA AND ALL NECESSARY MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT TO SIMULATE A TCP. HAVE OTHER SOLDIERS ROLE PLAY THE PART OF CONVOY DRIVERS, COMMANDERS, VEHICLE DRIVERS, REFUGEES, AND STRAGGLERS.

BRIEF SOLDIER TELL THE SOLDIER BEING EVALUATED THAT HE OR SHE MUST
OPERATE THE TCP IAW THE PERFORMANCE MEASURES.

TCP ESTABLISH THE TCP IN A TACTICAL ENVIRONMENT.
PARK VEHICLE IN A COVERED AND CONCEALED POSITION. ESTABLISH FIELDS OF FIRE. EMPLACE THE CREW SERVED WEAPON IN FIGHTING POSITION IAW SMCT SL1 TAST

TCP ESTABLISH COMMUNICATIONS WITH YOUR PARENT UNIT, MOVILE PATROLS, OTHER TCPS, AND HTD. MAINTAIN DUTY ROUTINE ESTABLISHED BY TEAM LEADER.

TCP REPORT INFORMATION ABOUT FRIENDLY/ENEMY UNITS MOVING IN THE AREA. INFORMATION MAY INCLUDE- - LOCATIONS OF OTHER TCPS. ENEMY LOCATIONS. CONDITIONS WHICH REQUIRE CHANGES IN ROUTES SUCH AS NBC ATTACKS IN THE AREA. UNUSUAL MOVEMENT OR ACTIVITIES BY CIVILIANS IN THE AREA.

TCP 3. PROVIDE INFORMATION TO CONVOY PERSONNEL, OTHER FRIENDLY PERSONNEL (UPON IDENTIFICATION) WHO ARE USING THE MSR AND WHO HAVE A NEED TO KNOW, AND TO YOUR PARENT UNIT.

TCP CONTROL VEHICLE MOVEMENTS IAW THE TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN.
FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH AUTHORIZED ROUTES, MSRS, AND TERRAIN FEATURES. EXPEDITE PRIORITY TRAFFIC. REROUTE TRAFFIC AS NEEDED. OBSERVE MOVEMENTS AND REPORT PROBLEMS. USE HAND AND ARM SIGNALS IAW TAST USE FLASHLIGHT SIGNALS IAW TASK

TCP ENFORCE THE MSR REGULATIONS.
STOP VEHICLES OR CONVOYS THAT ARE NOT FOLLOWING MSR REGULATIONS. TELL THE CONVOY COMMANDER WHY THE CONVOY WAS STOPPED. ALLOW THE CONVOY COMMANDER TO MAKE IMMEDIATE CORRECTIONS. WHEN IMMEDIATE CORRECTIONS CANNOT BE MADE, RECORD THE KEY INFORMATION ABOUT THE INCIDENT AND NOTIFY YOUR SQUAD LEADER.

TCP KEEP A RECORD OF CONVOYS PASSING THE TCP (WHEN REQUESTED TO DO SO BY THE HTD) AND COMPILE THE INFORMATION INTO A PASSING REPORT IAW UNIT SOP. THE INFORMATION SHOULD INCLUDE- - THE TCP LOCATION UNIT LOCATIONS THE CONVOY IDENTIFICATION (UNIT OR SERIAL NUMBER).

TCP THE TIME THE FIRST VEHICLE PASSED THE TCP.
THE TIME THE LAST VEHICLE PASSED THE TCP. THE NUMBER OF VEHICLES IN THE CONVOY.

TCP 6. OBSERVE ACTIVITY BY GUERRILLAS, CONVENTIONAL ENEMY FORCES, AND ENEMY AIRCRAFT AND DEVELOP A SPOTREP. USE THE WORD SALUTE AS A MEMORY DEVICE.

TCP S -- WHAT WAS THE SIZE OF THE ENEMY FORCE?
A -- WHAT ACTIVITY WERE THEY ENGAGED IN? L -- WHAT IS THE LOCATION OF THE ENEMY? U -- WHAT TYPE OF UNIT WAS SEEN? T -- WHAT TIME WAS THE ENEMY SEEN? E -- WHAT EQUIPMENT WERE THEY CARRYING?

TCP NOTE: DRIVERS USING THE MSRS MAY STOP AT THE TCP TO REPORT SUSPECTED OR ACTUAL ENEMY ACTIVITY ALONG THE MSR.

TCP RELAY THE SPOTREP THROUGH YOUR CHAIN OF COMMAND IAW SMCT SL1 TAST CONTROL STRAGGLERS. DETERMINE THE CATEGORIES OF THE STRAGGLERS—INJURED, UNINJURED, AND PERSONNEL AVOIDING RETURN TO THEIR UNIT.

TCP DIRECT STRAGGLERS TO THEIR UNIT OR TO A STRAGGLER COLLECTING POINT. ARRANGE FOR TRANSPORTATION, IF AVAILABLE. ADMINISTER FIRST AID. IF SERIOUSLY WOUNDED, PLACE STRAGGLERS IN MEDICAL CHANNELS.

TCP CONTROL REFUGEES. DO NOT ALLOW REFUGEES TO DELAY AUTHORIZED MILITARY TRAFFIC. REDIRECT THEM TO A REFUGEE CONTROL ROUTE OR TEMPORARILY HALT REFUGEES UNTIL THE MSR IS OPEN.

TCP REDIRECT REFUGEES TO COLLECTING POINTS, ASSEMBLY AREAS, REFUGEE CAMPS, OR EVACUATION ROUTES. ENFORCE STANDFAST ORDERS. PREVENT UNNEEDED MOVEMENTS.

TCP MONITOR THE AREA FOR NBC CONTAMINATION. WHEN CONTAMINATION IS DETECTED, DO THE FOLLOWING: TAKE IMMEDIATE PROTECTIVE MEASURES IAW SMCT SL1 TASKS AND MARK NBC CONTAMINATION AREA IAW SMCT SL1 TASK REQUEST INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOVING TRAFFIC IN OR THROUGH THE CONTAMINATED AREA.
