EIC Innovators Summit 2018 “Women entrepreneurs” workshop key outcomes
Investor women and entrepreneurs are a real power for Europe’s economy development, however the participation to the sector is very low due to different factors that need to be clarified. In particular they are linked to low percentage of women in STEM, awareness and to societal/cultural conditions. The opportunities and different means to support women entrepreneurs and investors were discussed. Networking and communication are very important, women supporting other women, appropriated coaching and being Role models for others Men need to be more involved in these networks and actions EC has already several dedicated actions that support women entrepreneurs. EASME will facilitate the connections and ease access to these actions. EASME is waiting for suggestions and contribute for this workshop clients to improve the process and increase the success rate for women founders.
