A Peek At The Week
-In reading we are continuing to direct instruction at students’ reading levels.
-In Math we will use symbols to compare numbers to 100, count and write numbers to 120, and add and subtract multiples of 10 from a given number.
-Writing time this week will be spent learning about acrostic poems. We will create acrostic poems by using the letters of our name, favorite season, and favorite animal.
-Our Core Knowledge time will continue with Science and the Earth. This week we will focus on minerals, the three types of rock, fossils, and dinosaurs.
