Purpose
We are committed to providing the necessary information and support that will enable our children to learn and grow.

3. Restructuring to Support Students
Expand and coordinate health quarter class offering
6th grade - Interpersonal communication skills, goal-setting and decision- making skills, and advocating for personal, family, and community health
7th grade - Emergency responses, manage conflict and violence, group dynamics, stress management, and social pressure
8th grade - Healthy relationships, internet safety, substance abuse, puberty, and anatomy
Expand our exploratory foreign language offering
6th grade - Spanish & Latin
7th grade – French & Italian
8th grade – Selection of Spanish, Latin, French, or Italian
Maintaining and adding to offering

4. Looking Forward
We will use standards to guide our instruction and support.
Pennsylvania Academic Standards for Health, Safety, and Physical Education
National Health Education Standards for Students
We will continue working with NPFH, HTPD, MYM, and HADA.
We will share resources with organizations such as CHOP and the Haverford Township Ministerium.
We will incorporate new focus areas and activities:
Inclusivity
WONDER movie night
Community awareness initiative
We will influence the culture of our school and community.
