Nicor Gas is the largest and lowest cost provider of natural gas in the state, serving 2.2 million customers Our service territory spans more than 17,000 square miles across northern Illinois Nicor Gas operates more than 34,000 miles of natural gas pipeline – including approximately 600 miles of high-pressure transmission lines – and is connected to eight interstate pipelines and one intrastate pipeline

5 Getting Started (The Process)
After receiving your packet, please fill out your “Getting Started” form: One of our Customer Development team members will contact you The team member will provide you with applicable load verification documents to confirm minimum and maximum flow, pressure requirements and ramp rates Once the load verification documents are returned, a high-level feasibility analysis will be completed: Estimated costs and potential deposit amounts will be determined based on system improvement costs vs. revenue Engineering and System Planning requirement taken into account Feasibility analysis letter will be generated Next Steps: Understanding the final site selection Develop construction timetable Start Finish
