What is BAS?
The Benchmark Assessment System is a one- on-one, comprehensive assessment to determine independent and instructional reading levels. It is used to place students on the Fountas & Pinnell A=Z reading level scale.

It stands for MAP for Primary Grades
MPG creates a personalized assessment experience by adapting to each student’s learning level
It provides essential information about what
