Open Enrollment ends: Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, at 4:45 p.m. During Open Enrollment, you have the opportunity to: Enroll in coverage, Cancel existing coverage, or Make changes to benefit elections. Effective Jan. 1, 2019 aub.ie/benefits

We encourage you to review benefit elections and new options which will be offered this year. Health Plan Changes for 2019
Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Alabama health plan changes Health insurance premium increase of 3% (monthly increase of $3.25 to $15.45 based on salary tier and type of coverage) Premium is deducted on a pre-tax basis Out-of-pocket maximum increase to $7,900 for single coverage and $15,800 for family coverage (Protects insureds in the event of a catastrophic claim) Tier 5 prescriptions - 25% co-insurance up to $ maximum per prescription before application of coupon(s) aub.ie/benefits

Critical Illness Insurance
You can now purchase Critical Illness Insurance! Provides a lump sum benefit of either $10,000 or $30,000 Provides coverage for heart attack, stroke, and other illnesses Guaranteed issue regardless of health status (12-month pre-existing condition applies) Can purchase for self and eligible dependents aub.ie/benefits

Cancer Insurance Two New and Improved Cancer Plans in 2019!
Increased initial diagnosis benefit on both plans Guaranteed issue regardless of health status (12- month pre-existing condition applies) Can purchase on self and eligible dependents If currently enrolled in group cancer plan, you may keep your current plan aub.ie/benefits

Life Insurances Guaranteed Issue Life Insurance Plans regardless of health status! Can purchase on self or eligible dependents Term Life insurance through The Standard Whole Life insurance through Colonial Life aub.ie/benefits

Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance
LTD through The Standard is provided to all full-time, benefit-eligible employees who have been employed at least one year Provides 60 percent of pre-disability eligible income: Minimum $100/month: Maximum $7000/month New options for LTD coverage in 2019: New employees - employed in 2018 may purchase group LTD plan at guaranteed issue regardless of health status for first year Employees employed for over one year- may purchase an additional 10 percent of LTD coverage at guaranteed issue regardless of health status (for total of 70 percent coverage) aub.ie/benefits

You MUST enroll or re-enroll in Flexible Spending Account Plans Includes Flexible Medical Spending Account up to $2,650 per employee annually and/or Dependent Care Spending Account for child/elder care expenses up to $5,000 per household annually Current elections end on December 31, 2018 Carryover provision on Medical Spending Account allows you to carry up to $500 of unused Medical Spending Account funds into the next plan year aub.ie/benefits
