Closeout Document Presented by Chelsea Schmieg at Codell Construction Co. Solution: Use a system-generated Closeout document for each Bid Package that creates all files from templates automatically. Codell Construction Company specializes as Construction Manager on public and government buildings. They occasionally also contract as Construction Manager-At-Risk or General Contractor

6 Revise/Resubmit Button
Presented by David Moody at UC Davis Problem: GCs would submit RFIs to the PMs, who would close the RFI when they responded. GCs needed a way to continue the conversation. Solution: Set up a button that allows GCs to create RFI revisions with a single click. UC Davis is part of the University of California

7 Capability-based UI Configuration
Presented by Michelle Davis at UC Davis Problem: We had fields on a Doc type that we did not want everyone to be able to see, and we had some fields that we wanted as read-only for some and read/edit for others. Solution: Use capability-based configurations to hide the fields for some users, allow some users to read the field and allow others to edit the field. UC Davis is part of the University of California

8 Context-based UI Configuration
Presented by Michelle Davis at UC Davis Problem: When we showed all fields on our Commitment, users would try to fill them all in even though some didn’t apply to the selected subtype. Solution: Use context-based configurations to display fields on the document based on the selected subtype. UC Davis is part of the University of California

9 Presented by Dennis Stroud
Bonus: BFA Alerts Presented by Dennis Stroud Problem: We needed to quickly see the margin impact of Change Orders or Budget revisions. Solution: Set up project margin alerts in the BFA workbook.
