Begin by making the foldable for your notebook
It will look like this picture without the emoji You will need 7 colors of construction Paper per every 4 people Fold as shown and staple, then cut into 4 sections (each person gets one)
5
Put on your foldable Title: Solutions and Ph- copy the definiton on each page and cut out/ color the drawing that matches the picture and put it on the foldable Under the first flap- solute- (write this definition)the solid that is dissolved into the solute Picture of the bag of sugar Cut out, color, and glue onto this section
6
2nd flap Solvent- the liquid that the solute is dissolved in
Water is universal solvent Cut out picture of water droplet, color, and glue on this section
7
3rd flap Solubility- the ability to dissolve a solute into a solvent
Can be increased with an increase in temperature
8
4th Solutions- made when a solute is dissolved in a solute
9
5th Concentration- High and Low- amount of solute in the solvent
Saturation level – saturated – water added, unsaturated,- dry, supersaturated- very wet.
10
6th Mixture Homogeneous= same throughout- Like Kool-Aid (cant be separated easily) Heterogeneous= not mixed thoroughly- like salad (you can take out what you don’t like)
