All information flows through a single, centralized, resource that delivers content to the community in the format and frequency they want.

3. Organize Information and Resources
Go through all of our archive resources and get rid of the outdated materials and promote the useful ones.
Create a “Getting Started Guide” for Prime
Provide resources for new staff looking to get up to speed
Working with EPA to build out comprehensive information resources that support various areas of the project for a “deeper dive”
Preparing your data

4. Improve the Quality of Communications
Provide significantly more relevant context to content
Example: The All Things SDWIS Calls are recorded and shared via a link on a webpage. Why not provide detailed descriptions of what was covered on each call, so a user looking at 12 links knows which one has info they need
Provide that same context ahead of all communications – calls and webinars.
Provide report-outs in text formats and save calls, webinars, and meetings for exchange of information and feedback on those issues.

5. Provide Opportunities for Community Engagement
Reestablish the ASDWA SDWIS User Community
Give users the tools they need to connect with each other.
Provide tools for non-pilot states to engage the project on multiple levels
Transparent bug reporting and tracking
Enhancement tracking
…etc.

6. Better Risk Communications and Increased Transparency
Be more open with what we know and what we don’t know.
If there’s a problem, or known issue, get out in front of it and engage the community. We may not like it, but we’ll feel more involved and informed.
Better communications = increased accountability and project confidence.
