1st offense – parent pick up 2nd offense – parent pick up 3rd offense – one day suspension

Consistent Policies from Pricing will stay the same Menu will be available on-line Pre-pay is still available through or through checks No more charging lunches

6 Attendance Policy 12 total absences : excused + unexcused + tardies per class, per semester 2 tardies = 1 unexcused absence Semester grades will be automatically lowered 1/3 of grade at a total of 13 absences for each class

7 Attendance Policy Excused vs. Unexcused absence = make up work
Students MUST Sign in/out in the attendance office – NO CALLS after the fact Pick up passes from attendance office Parents have 24 hours to call the attendance hotline to excuse an absence

8 Lunch AHS has 3 lunch periods Scheduled by 4th hour teacher 30 minutes
Stay in the cafeteria Closed campus – seniors only

12 Bullying High School: Step 2-7 Harassment
Harassment is the act of verbal or physical behavior, written or electronic communication which: Intimidates and/or bullies Involves an expressed or implied threat Interferes with someone’s participation in school or extra-curricular school activities Involves unwelcome sexual advances or requests Creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive school environment High School: Step 2-7

13 Dress Code Dress appropriately, not offensive to others.
No clothing with innuendoes Tops/Shirts Straps must not be less than 2” wide No spaghetti straps No open back/halter No one shoulder/single shoulder/off the shoulder No low-cut tops No bare midriffs—shirts must be long enough to be able to be tucked into pants No underwear showing (tops or bottoms)

14 Dress Code, continued Shorts/Skirts No micro miniskirts
No short shorts Should be the length of the fingertips of their fully extended arms Violations will result in consequences through the Step system If a student is sent to the office, a parent will be contacted.

15 Code of Conduct Changes
No Step 1 at the High School level It takes 45 school days to go down a step (middle school was 30 days)

Clubs Homecoming: Game September 30/Dance October 1 Homecoming Dance is semi-formal (no jeans) Bus Behavior – cameras are installed on all RCS buses
