Hi! My Name is Ann Marie Atkinson! I live in Tifton with my husband Shannon & our two daughters, Jaden (4th grader) and Madelyn (1st grader). We have one dog, Jack and two cats, Peaches and Pumpkin. I enjoy going to the lake & being with friends and family.
I will be your child’s Speech Teacher for the school year! This will be my 5th year being a Speech Therapist for Tift County Schools at Charles Spencer Elementary. Before working in the schools, I was a Speech Therapist at a nursing home for 8 years. I am excited to be working with your child this year!

MY CHILDHOOD
I grew up in Cuthbert, Georgia where I attended Randolph County Elementary School for Kindergarten through 5th grade. I then attended Randolph-Clay Comprehensive Middle High School for 6th-8th grade before graduating from Randolph Southern School in I also attended Andrew College in Cuthbert for my first year of college.

EDUCATION
I attended Valdosta State University and received all of my degrees from VSU. In December of 2003, I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Communications Disorders. In May of 2015, I graduated with my Masters of Education in Communication Disorders. I was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority while attending VSU and was involved with many of our philanthropies, as well as being VP Standards during my senior year.
