10 Rewards Class Dojo To promote Learning Behaviours
Perseverance & Persistence, Kindness & Caring, Learning Ready, Church Value, Cooperative Learning, Extra Effort Reset every 6 weeks Rewarded at 10 (smelly sticker), 25 (Boxted Primary stationery), 50 Postcard home, 75 Pick a prize, 100 Extra play time or use of Wii Dojo King and Queen of the week – certificate Governor reviewed the system: ‘The reward system is still very desirable by the students. Children spoke enthusiastically about the rewards that are on offer. The lower rewards for the collection of Dojos was still motivating for students and therefore, based on their feedback, I suggest this is still very effective. Year 2 students were very well versed on the code of conduct. They could give examples of how they might receive Dojos within lessons.’ School Council feedback: we added a category on class dojo; got a Wii sorted!

15 Intrinsic Praise (the most important one!)
Proud Cloud Whole class celebration Sending a photocopy of work home/telling mum and dad A smile and utter joy at a piece of work Celebrating charitable acts/personal achievements in the newsletter Sending children to see another teacher or HT with their work Displays around the school Our environment should reflect high expectations and should celebrate everyone’s achievements

16 Awards Ceremonies Categories?
Are we missing something? What should we be celebrating? Are we promoting the right things? Is an award desired by the children?

17 Class Dojo Rewards - are they valuable to the children? How frequently should we reset?

18 Let’s think of something new!
What would your children love to work for,…towards? What is their biggest motivator? Do they feel valued? If not why not? Do our rewards value a ‘whole child’ not just an academic one? Do you feel rewards are fair and equitable?
