1 Weekly Newsletter 9-14-18 Weekly Homework: Sight Words
This week. . . We are learning about 2D shapes this week. We are talking about their attributes, writing about them in journals, and learning about them in small groups. In reading we are learning about different types of texts and how to warm up a book. We guess what the book is about and take a picture walk before we read. We also Celebrated Dot Day today by reading, The Dot by Peter Reynolds. Even kindergarteners can make their mark in the world. (Especially kindergartners!) We finished our Baby Animal books and are ready to publish them. We will share them with parents during conference week. I know you will be amazed! Congratulations to Elizabeth and Frederik for finishing Kinder Keys! Way to go! If you haven’t finished, please do so as soon as possible. We want to be able to send books home with everyone!
