1. The Crossword Icebreaker
Using the letters in your first or last name introduce yourself to the group. I.e. – My name is Gary – The G stands for gregarious, I really like to talk and meet new people, the A in my first name stands for Apple, because apple pie is my favorite food … and so on. You’ll have 30 seconds on the clock to speak.

2. “My Hobby Is” Icebreaker
Working around the room: Standup and tell us your name and describe for the group your hobby in 30 seconds or less. After you’re done, the host will restart the timer. Answer one, or if time allows, two questions from the group about what you’ve told them.
If you do not have a hobby, talk about one you would like to have.
