Matthew 6:22 The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.

Matthew 13:14 We need to avoid being like the Pharisees by closing our eyes. For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them. We shouldn’t convince ourselves that everything is okay when God’s word says otherwise.

Hopeful Eyes Romans 8: For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. Are we anticipating something better? Are we looking ahead and beyond today?
