2. What is Aurasma Studio
Aurasma Studio is an app designed for cell phones.
The app allows individual to find images, or items in public, and by focusing on that image or item, have hidden information about it revealed.
Aurasma Studio has a basic program that is completely free and meets most peoples needs. There is a more indepth app, but never received notice back as to cost.

3. What I Used Aurasma Studio For
I am working on a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on technology. So I combined that with my AP Teacher status and came up with the following idea.
I went through the first 5 Chapters of Ways of the World 2nd Edition by Robert Strayer and choose multiple images from the book. These are called trigger images.
After uploading them to Aurasma Studio I looked up additional information on the items and imported that information created overlays.
Next I had my students download the Aurasma app and join my studio page.

Once you have the Aurasma app, individuals can then find trigger images within the Ways of the World textbook, initialize the overlay, and review the newly revealed information.
This should provide students with additional information on images they photo analyze. This could be photo analysis information, information on the civilization, or information on the subject.
