4. ENVIRONMENTAL LEGISLATION SITUATION IN SERBIA
The purpose of Phase I of the project is to have the Framework Law on the System of Environmental Protection,expected to be in force by the commencement of the project activities,and other relevant legislation in Serbia harmonized with Europian Union-implementation IPPC,EIA directives, Arhus convention etc.
