2 Introduction King Lear is one of the great tragedy of William Shakespeare. It is the tragedy about king lear. The king of Britain and same like to Bahubali Flim. The king of state was ‘Mahishmati’. Shakespearean tragedy has its own characteristics. They all find fine expression in bahubali consequently, the play remains a true Shakespearean tragedy. The fact can be explained as follows why the Bahubali flim is Shakespearean tragedy, and also Bahubali charactar is tragic hero.

4 1. A high Ranked Hero 1. A high ranked hero- Firstly a tragic hero has a high ranked hero in shapearean tragedy. He has an element of greatness and he is noble in emotions and behaviour. For example- In bahubali film, Bahubali was a great warrior and also he was prince. The hero of bahubali was the king of mahishmati. He was royal person. He has qualities of head and heart and so we feel akin to him.

5 2. Tragic Flaw 2. Tragic Flaw- Secondly, the tragic hero of Shakespeare has a certain weakness which is called Tragic Flaw. The tragic hero has many physical and spiritual qualities. However, he suffers from one shortcoming which brings his downfall and tragic end. For example- ‘ To be or not to be ’ situation in Hamlet and in Bahubali film, situation was the select to state or his beloved Devsena, same as situation in king lear divied his kingdom among his daughters.

6 3. An Important Role 3. An important role- Thirdly, though the tragic fault of the hero brings most of his tragedy. Fate too plays an important role in the play. It is found in the form of wild storm and rain only and madness of lear, lear faces the storm bravely. So means what king lear as compare to bahubali character the situation was the his mother Shivgami declared the bahubali and devsena both are out of state, and live in simple peoples life.

7 4. Tragic Conflict 4. Tragic conflict- Fourthly, like a true tragedy Shakespearean tragedy has tragic conflict. It is both outword and inword. In king lear, the external conflict is between the good and evil character. It is between lear and his daughter and also Edmund – edger, Gloucester and cornwall etc. Ex. The some situations as same tragic conflict in bahubali film the prince of Bahubali flim. The one side the rules and regulation, act of Mahishmati and other side his beloved Devsena and her love.

8 5. Feelings of pity and fear
5. Feelings of pity and fear- one more important feature of the plays 0f Shakespeare is the feelings of pity and fear. There are several scences in the play which arouse pity and fear. For example- storm scenes his minds Glocester blinded by ‘ cornwall, etc. And as like as the Bahubali film the several situations in the film which arouse the pity and fear. Ex. In Bahubali flims out of states condition, simple living with simple people etc. and hard work.

9 6. Comic Relief 6. Comic relief- Another characteristics of Shakespearean tragedy is comic relief. For example. In king lear fools laugh at king lear and as compare to the bahubali condition of first meet to Devsena and that the Kattapa and Bahubali behaviour create a comic relief or comedy.

10 7. Tragic Atmosphere 7. Tragic atmosphere- Finally as a Shakespearean tragedy has tragic atmosphere. For example- King lear contains it, here it is made by cheating, tragic element, murders and super natural element similarly like a the a shakespearean hero with compare to hero, bahubali finally becomes alone and mad. It means finally the bahubali film creates the tragic atmosphere.

11 Conclusion Thus, king lear as a result, remains a great Shakespearean tragedy. and also the tragic hero king lear as compare to hero. Bahubali is correct tragic hero. means what, “I think and I say the bahubali film is type of Shakespearean tragedy, and Bahubali character is tragic hero”.
