While we will continue to teach our classes as intended, we will encourage and tutor students who wish to challenge AP exams for college credit. PCCHS courses exceed AP coursework in both content and rigor.

9. The Value of a Classical Education
Scholarship Numbers
BCSI graduates earn large academic scholarships
Class of 2016:
Founders Classical Academy of Lewisville: 28 graduates; $3,500,000 total scholarships earned
Estancia Valley Classical Academy: 14 graduates; $42,000 total scholarships earned
Class of 2017:
Founders Classical Academy of Lewisville: 68 graduates; $3,900,000 total scholarships earned
Founders Classical Academy of Leander: 11 graduates; $2,283,280 total scholarships earned
Across the BCSI network, juniors and seniors earn SAT and ACT scores averaging in the 76th percentile (according to the most recent survey), and thus far, five students have been named National Merit Commended Scholars with one student continuing on to be named a National Merit Semifinalist.

Some sports will be offered at PCCA (volleyball, basketball, track)
Students at charter schools are eligible to play sports for the local high school teams. They must try out and be selected as any other students. For students who want to play football, baseball, or other sports not offered yet at PCCHS, this is a wonderful option.
