Academic Supplements AP Course Options
While we will continue to teach our classes as intended, we will encourage and tutor students who wish to challenge AP exams for college credit. PCCHS courses exceed AP coursework in both content and rigor. CLEP Options CLEP tests offered via The College Board can also supply college credit. Dual Enrollment Dual enrollment is for 10th grade and up and may be offered as a limited option in the future. The Value of a Classical Education
Scholarship Numbers BCSI graduates earn large academic scholarships Class of 2016: Founders Classical Academy of Lewisville: 28 graduates; $3,500,000 total scholarships earned Estancia Valley Classical Academy: 14 graduates; $42,000 total scholarships earned Class of 2017: Founders Classical Academy of Lewisville: 68 graduates; $3,900,000 total scholarships earned Founders Classical Academy of Leander: 11 graduates; $2,283,280 total scholarships earned Across the BCSI network, juniors and seniors earn SAT and ACT scores averaging in the 76th percentile (according to the most recent survey), and thus far, five students have been named National Merit Commended Scholars with one student continuing on to be named a National Merit Semifinalist. Extracurricular Activities and Sports
Academic Clubs/Organizations Sports Some sports will be offered at PCCA (volleyball, basketball, track) Students at charter schools are eligible to play sports for the local high school teams. They must try out and be selected as any other students. For students who want to play football, baseball, or other sports not offered yet at PCCHS, this is a wonderful option. Dual Enrollment Dual enrollment is for 10th grade and up and may be offered as a limited option in the future. Location and Scheduling
Two Options for Location Proposed Schedule 7:45-3:30 If high school is offered at West Melbourne location, busing will be provided from the Palm Bay location. After School Options Extracurricular activities Monitored study hall to assist with after school care for middle and high school students Future of High School Campus 9-12 building on Palm Bay Campus beginning school year West Melbourne will add a grade each year through 12th grade Location and Scheduling
