2. Ruriteen
There will be a meeting on Wednesday to go over plans for the year.
The meeting will be after school in room N-4

3. FCS
Next FCS meeting is Tuesday Sept. 8 at 2:30pm in room A-2

4. Community Youth Foundation
Now accepting applications for freshmen and sophomores
Applications are available online only MCCF.org and are due Friday September 18th.

5. Popcorn
Mrs.Donaldson’s and Mrs.Fernburg’s Class will be selling popcorn on Friday at lunch for 75 cents.

6. National Honor Society
Meeting 9/8/15 after school. All members must attend.

7. PSAT & ACT
Any sophomore or Junior interested in taking the PSAT stop by student services to sign up.
Scores from the PSAT are used to determine eligibility and qualification for the National Merit Scholarship Program.
The cost is $16 and the deadline is September 11.
If planning to take Oct. 24 ACT the registration deadline is Sept.18

8. Parking Passes
Students driving to school need to get their parking passes ASAP. Passes will be checked starting on Tuesday 9/8/15.

9. Freshmen
Freshmen interested in running for a class office may pick up the petition in the office. Students should have the petition completed and returned by Tuesday, September 8th. Any freshmen with questions may speak with Mr. Sims in T-16.

10. Baseball
Open fields will be held on Tuesdays & Thursdays beginning tonight at 3:00

11. Library News
Honor passes are available for Juniors and Seniors with a GPA of at least 3.0.
Applications are being accepted for library aides.
