5. Variables Independent - the variable that is being tested. (IF)

Independent - the variable that is being tested. (IF)
Dependent - will change as a result of what the other factor does. (THEN)

6. Groups
Control Group - does not participate in the critical part of the experiment
Experimental - group that the critical part of experiment is preformed
