Figure 1 The commonly used donor sites for a composite graft (▨) require repairs which frequently result in reduction of the helical dimensions and/or anteversion of the ear. The medial helical root donor site provides unequivalent composite graft and repair of the donor site with V–Y flap ensures improved donor site/auricular aesthetics.
